- Storage and transport of APIs, excipients, and chemical intermediates
- Maintains material integrity from warehouse to production area
- Can be used with tumble blenders for gentle mixing of powders or granules
- Ideal for lubrication blending in tablet production
- Holding granulations or blends between process steps
- Maintains product homogeneity and prevents contamination
- Direct charging into tableting machines, encapsulators, or packaging lines
- Ensures accurate and contamination-free material transfer
- Facilitates representative sampling for in-process quality checks
- Maintains batch integrity during quality hold periods
- Containment of rejected materials or process waste for proper disposal
- Supports segregation of different waste streams
The round design of these IPCs offers several advantages:
- Uniform stress distribution, allowing for better structural integrity
- Improved material flow characteristics, reducing the risk of dead spots or material buildup
- Easier cleaning and sterilization due to the absence of corners
- Optimized volume-to-surface area ratio, enhancing thermal efficiency in jacketed models
We offer three grades of stainless steel, each suited to different application requirements:
SS 304 (Stainless Steel 304):
- An austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel
- Excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemical environments
- Good formability and weldability
- Suitable for most standard pharmaceutical and chemical processes
- Typical composition: 18% Chromium, 8% Nickel
SS 316:
- Enhanced version of 304 with the addition of molybdenum
- Superior corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and sulfuric acid
- Better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments
- Ideal for more aggressive chemical processes or coastal environments
- Typical composition: 16% Chromium, 10% Nickel, 2% Molybdenum
SS 316 L:
- Low carbon variant of SS 316 (Carbon content ≤ 0.03%)
- Exceptional resistance to carbide precipitation during welding
- Superior for applications requiring frequent sanitization or sterilization
- Highest level of corrosion resistance among the three grades
- Preferred for critical pharmaceutical processes and biotechnology applications
All materials are finished to a high polish (typically Ra ≤ 0.5 μm) to prevent product adhesion
and facilitate cleaning.
Our Round IPCs are available in a wide range of capacities:
Standard sizes from 50 Liters to 350 Liters
This range accommodates various production scales:
- 50-100 L: Ideal for pilot plants, R&D, or small-batch production
- 100-200 L: Suited for medium-scale manufacturing
- 200-350 L: Designed for larger production runs
Custom capacities available upon request to meet specific process requirements
- Graduated markings on the exterior for easy volume estimation
We offer multiple lid options to suit different operational needs:
Open Mouth Loose Lid:
- Simple, removable cover for easy access
- Suitable for non-critical applications or short-term storage
- Often used with mechanical lifters for powder charging
Clamp Lid:
- Utilizes a clamp ring mechanism for a secure, pressure-tight seal
- Ideal for moisture-sensitive materials or when containment is critical
- Available with various gasket materials (e.g., EPDM, silicone, PTFE) for compatibility with
different products
- Can be equipped with pressure relief valves for added safety
Hinged Lid:
- Combines ease of access with consistent sealing
- Useful in operations requiring frequent opening and closing
- Available with ergonomic handle designs and locking mechanisms
- Can be fitted with safety switches to prevent operation when open
